Why I Havent Been Around Lately
    Hey guys & gals

So some of you might remember that I posted a month ago about how my parents wanted me to get rid of my bp collection and I was asking for advice. So its been probably over a month, I eventually had to give up my collection, all but my first normal girl who I couldnt part with.

As hard as it was to sell my collection, there is something positive about this story. My family decided finally after 20 years of asking for one, to get a cat. At first I immediately wanted a bengal cat, of course. But after a few trips to the humane society, we saw a stray kitten who had been taken in and now hes living at home with us :) So I know you all like pictures so here are a couple of our 2 month old kitten "Mia". Just picked her up on Saturday and shes already keen on exploring every part of the house. We love her!

Glad you got to keep one BP. Once you've had them around, you'll always want one around. I hear that the truly addicted will actually go stark raving mad if faced with a future without BPs.

Sweet kitty. She's got such a sad little face.

Sorry to hear about you liquidating your collection, but it's great that you got to keep your Normal girl!

Hang in there, Matt! It won't be long and you'll be out on your own and will be able to pursue your hobby on your own terms. In the meantime, grow up your Normal girl and take care of that new kitty. She's a cutie!

Hope to see you around the Forum more often now that things have settled down for you.

That's a gorgeous cat. Seriously lovely. Sorry to hear that you had to give up your babies - I've been there, and can definitely sympathize - but glad you got to keep the one.
