    Liter of one?
I checked on my mice and found out 1 mouse gave birth, but the liter was only 1 pinkie.

    is this normal?

Not usual, but it can happen. Are you for certain she didn't have more and ate the rest? If she had stillborns, they might eat the bodies.

No. That isn't normal. Mice litters average 8-12 generally. Is this her first time?

dumb question but, did you remember to feed the mice before/ after giving birth? we had an incident with asfs as to where we didn't feed them for 1 day after they gave birth and when we looked in the rack they had eaten all the babies. just a thought.. as for it being normal for them to have just one, i guess its plausible, but not common.

They have constant food supplied by a hopper and a 32oz water bottle. All I know was the day before there weren't any pinkies and now there is one lol.

There's many reasons as to why you could have only one pinkie. My mama had 12 in her litter, and ate only one. If you breed her again and notice the same thing, she's probably eating them, and should be fed off.

It's not unusual for a mouse to have one pup in a litter. It happens.
Could have also eaten the rest of the litter without you knowing.

Pretty sure she ate them... She's in a colony of 1.3.. I looked today to check on the pinky... gone... Wonder why they are being eaten? No idea how to identify which one is the one whos doing the eating though..
