    Popping sound
I know there are an abundance of these topics but one of the main questions asks is in regards to possible stuck shed. I only started to notice this sound about a week or so ago and she hasn't shed since the end of March. I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if I should schedule an appointment with my vet. I have not seen any bubbles or mucous, haven't been able to get her mouth open to check for bubbles, her hot temp is between 88-92 and cool between 77-82 with between 60-66% humidity.
What do you guys think? Should I schedule her an appointment?

I think it depends on how often and how consistent it is. I'd bump up the temps a couple degrees and keep an eye out for any other signs. I've heard slight whistling and/or popping while breathing usually around the time of shedding, and it's usually just shed in the nose coming loose, or stuck shed.

I'd definitely check her mouth for mucus though. I usually use a Q-tip (the stick part) and roll it towards the mouth to open it. Be sure you have a secure grip on the head otherwise you're gonna get bit lol. It only takes a few seconds to check, and be careful of the teeth, don't force it.

Yea, I will try to look at her mouth. I tried the first time I heard it but I just don't feel right restricting her like that. My fiancé is here now, I will see if he can help me with it. I expect her to go into she'd sometime soon. This will be her second shed with me so I'm not entirely sure when that will be. I will keep an eye on her. Thanks for the advice!

Just checked her mouth. She looks good to me. I only hear it intermittently and I do expect a shed soon. I will listen again after the shed and call the vet if it persists.
