    Lucy, the Marketed Leucistic Beardie!
Went to the ETHS Reptile Expo here in Houston today. Went here looking for a BCC boa and was disappointed in the selection. I brought my mom a long with me (she is NOT a fan of reptiles) but after showing her around and teaching her and exposing her to reptiles, she came out of the expo with a significantly better outlook on reptile keepers! (we aren't all tattooed/pierced/dyed hair freaks like they show on TV!...although some of us are lolol)

Anyways, she met this one adult bearded dragon at the expo that for the 20 minutes or so we talked to the owner about the Lacy Act she couldnt help but notice that the Bearded Dragon 3 feet from her didn't move a muscle and was very calm and relaxed. Anyways..she kinda fell in love. She didn't want me to get "some big snake that would eat Magellan (see signature)" but instead coaxed me into getting a bearded dragon! Already knowing much about them and their care I happily obliged!

Here she is, in all her glory. A Leucistic beardie (bred from parents who are both leucistic)

Cuteness overload. Seriously, baby animals in general are adorable in my eyes but that Beardie is SO STINKIN' LOVABLE.

Beautiful colors, too. Have fun with her!

Very cute. So, these guys white out as they age?

Yes, the colors that are present, will fade out and...in a sense...look like a colorful artwork that you can barely make out the colors under a nice layer of snow. Like this:

One of their main traits, unlike albinism, is these guys have dark eye colors (not reds) and have clear, transparent nails.

They're so beautiful! I've never seen a Lucy Beardie before.
    Thanks for sharing.

She looks amazing. Is her toe missing on her left front foot or is it just folded under when you took the pictures?

Haha! I knew someone was gonna ask about that. She was given an inverted middle finger. It's just tucked under her. She has all of her digits! :gj:
