Blood and contractions?

    Blood and contractions?
Simply a random question but I figured I should ask:

Humans, when they are about to give birth, have contractions and mild traces of blood can be found. I was wondering if the same was for ball pythons right before they lay.

Also, can a ball python have a harder time breathing right before/during the laying process?

    Thanks.

The act of a Ball Python laying eggs is more similar to a chicken laying your breakfast than a human giving birth.

Mild contractions, yes. Blood, not every time, but possible.
