Well if you are looking for something that won't hesitate to take a swing at you I would suggest a young carpet python. I have one and love him. They come in all sizes and many different colors. Most will calm down as adults

Here is some good info on carpets

The Jungle subspecies of carpet pythons fits exactly into your size range

I love snakes as much as anyone else but I don't think I'd go for one that thinks I'm a super value pack every time I try to handle it lol.

Carpet Pythons, Amazon Tree Boas, and Green Tree Pythons all come to mind.

Amazon Tree Boas, Wild Caught Bull Snakes (very fun), as seen in BHB videos, the King Rat Snakes look fun.

If you just want the excitement of getting bit, go field herping, VERY exciting when you find something.

Go play with Satan at BHB. You gotta videotape it if you do though :)

Get a black racer. Lol. It really all comes down to the individual snake. I mean i got some BPs that dont care how you hold them and others that will honestly try to bite your face every time you open the cage. The meanest one i own though is a female Hog Island. With her its a flip of a coin. You never know if shes gonna be calm and just chill on your shoulders or if she even lets you look at her.
