Logo Design?

What do you guys think? This logo is based off of the foundation for my sons disease. The full name of the company is Fanconi's Anemia Revenge Exotics. The disease is typically just called FA, which is we use the trade name capitalized as FAr Exotics. Anyway I'd like any constructive criticism as I still have the opportunity to have it tweeked.

So do you want people to know you as Far Exotics or FA Exotics?
Because as a customer I would never ever ever be able to remember the diseases name.

Kinda off topic but ive never heard of that disease before, what is FA ? I know anemia has to do with low iron in blood but have no idea what the first word means?

Far exotics is what we'll go by. FA is a recessive genetic disorder that will eventually lead to anemia and the need for a bone marrow transplant. After the transplant they are highly susceptible to all types of cancer. It can also cause certain birth defects like radial club arm, which my son has, and physical development issues like very small stature. The average lifespan is currently 24.7 yrs old. I really like it, especially on the black background like your avatar. I think it's neat how you made it look like the organizations symbol.

I know this thread is a year old but...

am I the only one who doesn't like it? I like how it represents the foundation's logo, but I don't like how the snakes look all distorted because you were trying to replicate it exactly.

Also, don't really like the font, don't really like the mix of upper case and lower case.

I'm not a big fan either... :/ snakes look like they have been ran over or something. I love the concept! Just think it needs some work.
