Bought Jungle Jag X carpet python
I've bought 'as in TITLE' But not getting it for at least another 3weeks, so gives me time to buy all the stuff that i need.

Anybody here own any carpet pythons? and if so What equipment do you use and how do you do your set up!

Any pic's you could post for me to have a look at so I have some idea on how to set it up (just to get started anyway)

    cheers Guys

Depends on the size of the snake. Is it a baby/Juv/adult?

    The Serpent Merchant
This is what I currently keep my year old 75% coastal 25% jungle carpet python in. He will be moved into a much larger cage by the time he is an adult.

Pictured is an 1/2 of an animal plastics T8 (whole cage is 4'x2'x1' so the half he is in is 2'x2'x1')

His cage has a PVC perch I made for him, 2 reptile basics hides (small size) and a 4" diameter water dish.

This site has some good information on carpets:

Get a snake hook. Both my carpets have a crazy feeding response. I'm almost positive I would have been tagged by now if it wasn't for my hooks.
