How low is too low in the room air ambient??

How would I know if my bp vivarium has to low of air temp? I have her tank in my living room where I dont always have the heating on, as for me its just nice unless its the winter! But I live in the UK and we dont have warm sunny days, and to discribe my room for me would have a nice coldness to it.

I live in an apartment with painted walls, wooden floors etc and there would be no where else to put her if thats the case.

She also spends alot of time in her cool end, say the past month or so.....Oh, and she has refused 3 feeds!!

How or what would be the best way to fix this, ive tired everything even braining the rat, and still no.. :(

Any ideas??

I keep my ambient at about 77-78 which translates to about 79-80 on the cool side

So if my cool side was sitting around that and my warm side sitting at the correct temp, overall everything should be fine??

My racks are in my basement. They live at the same ambient temp as me and my kids. It gets as low as 65 at night in the winter. They do just fine with their hot spot at 90 ish.

For you to know what the ambient is get a thermometer and put it on the wall about at middle of the tank. This should give you a pretty good idea of what the ambient is.
Males and females will go through fasting periods. If your husbandry is perfect and its just a regular fast No tricks like braining really work either the snake will eat or not. Keep offering as you normally would. Sometimes bringing your ambient up can help her come off the fast.
