Helping a friend and have a question
Alright so My friend is going through a divorce, and can't keep his snakes. We agreed to take them in about two months ago. One girl had a very mild case of mites, and I treated her for those. Now both are perfectly healthy and eating great as they should be. He said both are around three years old with the largest being 4 foot, and the smaller being 3 foot(I don't have a scale yet so I can't get weights). He said they are both het. for albino, and the bigger girl is also het for anerytheristic. Now time for the question..... What would you pay for these ladies? If there are any specific reasons for your responses please explain it to me. I'm not into boas and don't know how pricing runs on these guys. By the way nothing personal to boas my husband doesn't like them because though handleable are more spastic and bigger than my ball pythns(hes not fond of them either).

    The smaller girl

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Does he have paperwork to prove they are true hets for the morphs he said?

Off hand I'm not sure of a good price to pay, but I'd check kingsnake classifieds and fauna classifieds and see how much they're going for on there.

Without paperwork, They're BCI's. About a hundred bucks for each.

Agreed. Unless a boa was purchased from a breeder with an excellent reputation and that breeder produced that animal himself, some kind of proof would be necessary in order to represent the animal as a true het.

In order to fairly represent the animal, until you get some kind of documented proof of its lineage, it must be labeled as a normal BCI. 80-100 is about right for a normal that size. :gj:
