The main reason why they get belly rot is because the cage was kept too wet.

To treat it you should get a bottle of Betadine (you can get Betadine at most drug stores no RX needed) dilute the Betadine in the ratio of 1 part Betadine to 10 parts warm water (water temp in the mid 80's remember what feel warm to you feels hot to a cold blooded snake)

Soak your BP in this solution 1-2 times a day for 20 minutes

I would also change your substrate to paper towels and keep the cage hospital clean. (also make sure that the cage has proper humidity but not wet to the touch)

If it truly has "really bad belly rot," take it to a good herp vet. You probably need antibiotics to fight off the now-systemic infection the poor guy has going on, which is completely husbandry-caused. What is your substrate, cage setup, temps, humidity, etc?

    What kind of antibacterial spray?

Again, what are the conditions (temp, humidity, etc, etc)?

It may be a burn rather than rot - do you have pictures? How are you measuring the hot spot?

Without details on the enclosure and husbandry no one can help you. Go to a vet.

    X 2

Bad case of belly rot = vet

Extensive belly rot will require anti-biotics which mean an appointment with a QUALIFIED HERP vet must be made, in the mean time have the snake on newspaper make the news paper stays clean and dry, if the animal as a tendancy to soak provide a smaller water dish so he can no longer soak, you can also clean the affected area or your snake's belly with Betadine.
