    A weirder question than usual
I make all of hides myself, and I am working on a new one that I made to look like a little house. See?

He can even crawl through the chimey :).Right now it is just made of plastic, foam board, tape, and paper mache. I don't know if any of you would know, but would normal water based acrylic paint harm my snake? I have never used paint on my hides before. I meant to paint him some nice bricks and shingles, but does anyone know if it could be harmful?

I would be more worried about the snake growing too big, and getting stuck in the chimney.

Acrylic paint shouldn't cause any issues, just make sure that it is completely dry and isn't putting off any fumes before you put it in the cage.

How well do you think it will do in the humidity of a snake cage?

I am hoping it holds up alright. He usually smashes my hides after awhile so I don't get too attached to them, I just felt like making something cute. I don't think the chimney will be too much of an issue since he is pretty close to full grown.
