    thermostat issue.
So my herpstat is messing up. All my pieces of flexwatt are 11 inches by 12 inches and i have 4 connected together and then one wired seperatly. the bottom 4 that are connected aren't heating up and the top one was up to 105 degrees. Im not sure what is going on here. any ideas on how to fix this?

That doesn't sound like a herpstat issue, but more like a connection issue. Can you individually check each piece of flexwatt by plugging it into the wall directly?'

    Where is the thermostat probe?

Yea it def doesn't sound like its a therm issue. Double check all connections and ten check them again. Make sure everything is secure and all the wiring is in good condition

Checked wiring and got a shock...literally haha because I didn't think to unplug it...but anyway one of the wires came apart. not sure if it was because of me pulling the electrical tape off or if it did it itself...guess ill find out in a few minutes.

Electrical shorts from bare wires can and have caused fires. Do be certain that you have good contact now. You may want to give them a tug to be sure it is really attached.
