*Update* Bellatrix - my Female Pastel
So this girl is nearly a year old, she was hatched July 24th of 2011. I got her in October at a reptile expo here in Houston, TX. She was about 60 grams when I bought her...Now she weighs in at 752 grams and slammed down her first small rat this weekend!!

I am really pleased with how well she has kept her color! I hear about some pastels browning out as they get older. I think she's gonna be yellow all the way!

And here's a baby picture when I first got her to compare her by. She was teenie tiny!

Wanted to give another quick photo update. Took these about 20 minutes ago... She's topping the scale now at a smidge over 1000 grams. Has eaten everytime I've offered and has never shown any kind of aggression.

Looking for some advice. I'm going to the NARBC expo in Arlington Texas this coming weekend and was looking to pick up a male to breed to her in about 2 years time. (she's 1 year and a couple months now so timing is perfect)

My budget is about $250 max. So Ive been looking at pastel combos. Someone already mentioned a firefly... And of course I think she could produce some sweeeet bumblebees...but I'm leaning towards getting a cinnamon male to produce pewters and hopefully starlings down the road...

Suggestions? Sound like a good plan? Mind you this would be my first breeding pair and I still have 2 years to go before I could pair them up lolol
