hypo questions
okay need a little help with hypo's. There are several different types i.e. butterscotch, orange, green, and just hypo that i see advertised all the time and most of the time I really cant see the difference between them. so can anyone enlighten me a little and also if you breed one to the other will you still get hypo babies or just d.h.? maybe post a couple pics of good examples of each. thanks

It can be very difficult. I'm not big into ghosts so I can't offer much more help.

you might as well not even pay attention to the label they throw in front of it for the most part. From what I've read, the colors used to describe the tint the hypo was. some were more orange, so they called em orange ghost, some were more yellow tinted, so they called them yellow ghost. You can breed an orange ghost to an orange ghost and get oranges, yellows, butterscotches, and more. They are all the same exact morph, its actually other genes making them have the different tint, not the hypo gene itself.
Now with us mixing them into other morphs, the colors don't really apply anymore. You just want to find the hypo you think will fit your project best.
When getting animals to be paired up, you will need to know if the gene your looking at is compatible with the other, which 99% of the time, it is going to be the standard hypo. Which includes orange, yellow, butterscotch, grey, peach, and there probably more colors out there people want to label....
Desert ghost is not compatible and there is unclear information on whether blue or green is or is not, but again 99% of the time, your dealing with the standard hypo.
