How's the temperment on that one? It's a lot lighter then a lot of the ones I've seen.

    Thanks for sharing.

She is very calm and a sweet snake to deal with. Has never struck, but is hissy when getting her out of the cage. When I got her she had a nasty RI and a couple of mysterious wounds on her back. She took her first meal Saturday, so hopefully she will gain some much needed weight.

Wonderful collection you have David! I love them all! Have you ever owned a red or black blood? Do you think there is much difference in temperment between them?

This is my first Blood, so I couldn't really comment on the other ones personally. But from what I've heard the reds are the more aggressive most of the time.....but like with any snake species, it depends on the individual snake and how you go about interacting with them.

Yup, that is true. You just have quite a lot of animals, I thought I would throw that ? out there to see if you knew about red's, I want one REALLY bad.

Yeah, I looked into reds a while back, but they are the biggest of the bloods......and my female Borneo will be plenty big when she is full-grown. Reds can get up to 8 feet long and weigh 60+ pounds.....basically they have the girth of a 15 foor Burm on an 8 foot snake, lol! Borneos only get 5-6 feet long and usually max out at around 30-35 pounds.
