    heat cable on melamine rack?
    can my heat cable by directly touching the melamine or sterilite container? or do I need to leave space for ventilation as you would for a glass aquarium?

    I have used heat cable touching both no problems. Make sure you use a tstat tho...

    I actually have also put aluminium tape over it to let the tub slide easier. The flame retardant coating on the cable kinda sticks to the plastic tub a little...
