    Got my Ball to switch to f/t :)
    Not really a question just happy and wanted to share, I switched him from live mice to a live rat pinky and now he took a frozen rat pinky. I know the rule is only feed something as big as the fattest part of your snake but at about what weight do you start feeding rat pups?

    I do believe that you feed it a rat that is 15% of your ball pythons body weight.

    You want to feed young BP's a rodent that weighs 15% of the snakes body weight.

    so a 100 gram Bp should eat a 15 gram rodent

    ( 100 grams x 0.15 = 15 grams)
