Converted Two Mousers To Rats Last Night

And you might freak on how I did it. I've never heard of someone doing this.

So my practice has been to put in a rat first to see if they'd eat it and if that failed take the rat out and give them mice.

This time, the idea just popped in my head "Throw the little mouse in there but leave the rat in there too." So, I put the mouse in. The rat starts sniffing the mouse and following it wherever it goes. Then bam! She grabs the rat! Took the mouse out and the same trick worked on my other mouser. I couldn't believe it.

I couldn't be happier about it. I was tired of feeding these girls 4 mice at a time. Hopefully they'll be true converts and eat the rat straight away next week. If not, I'll just do the same thing. Ha!

I converted mine on Wednesday. It involved heating up the rat, just like I did the mouse, and throwing it the enclosure. He struck within 30 seconds. :)
