    I don't see why not

    If you put him in with her, he may wait until he sheds to lock with your female

    You'll never know until you try, but regardless there is no harm in putting them together if he is in shed

    Males will generally not breed while in shed.

    I never breed males in shed and rarely females...I like them to shed with out the extra stress of being with another animal.

    I never had a male breed while in shed, this is a good time to give him a rest from breeding.
