    another humid hide question
    i might have asked this awhile back but i dont remember, if my humidity is at 60% do i need a humid hide fr shedding...i have one but i think my bp might have outgrown it. if i need one i will get something bigger for him but if it isnt a must im not going to use one

    Not really, I link to bump my humidity closer to 70% during shed... It shouldn't take much more misting to get there... But you should be ok at 60%

    ok i was jw because i dont mist at all i just have his water bowl on top of a heat pad and that keeps me at 60% humidity

    That is like my set up. My cages stay at 60% pretty much on their own. During she'd I have to mist some to get it a little higher.

    My enclosures all sit at 60% (accurately measured there is often quite a large variation in hygrometers) I don't bother increasing usually I just keep things at 60% and wait. I have never had a shed issue at all. 60% will produce one piece sheds as long as it actually is is 60%. (Some digital hygrometers are spec'd at +/-20% others are 10%RH)

    60% is a good place to be at. You can def jump it up a bit when they go into shed but it's no completely necessary. I've had good complete sheds even when was humidity was a little lower than 60%.
