Woma Pythons?

I've been considering add one (or maybe two, haha) to my collection for a while now but I heard that they eat other snakes. I've yet to find any other information besides this single claim so I'm not really convinced but it would be a worthwhile bit of information to know about I would think.

Other than this, I've heard nothing but positive stuff on Womas (handles well and is easy to house) so I think I'd probably buy one even if they do indeed turn out to be cannibalistic.

/Edit:/ Also, how long do they live? Since they're a python, I would assume 15+ years at least but I'd like a definite answer since I haven't been able to find one.

Even if they don't eat other snakes (don't know either way), no snakes should be housed together, so it really shouldn't be an issue if they do.

Ah, wasn't considering housing with any other snakes but I'm kind of interested in hybrids so I'd want to make sure that I'm not endangering any other species if I attempted to breed 'em.

I'd be more worried about a hybrid project with blackheaded pythons........haha! But woma x ball has been done so it's possible. For Womas, about 50% of their diet in the wild is reptile related so it's possible if you had a Woma that was of size and hungry enough, the anything would be fair game.

With that being said, I've never had any incidents with all of my Woma breeding pairs that I put together each year. They check each other out and then go about their business. I even had a mis-sexed Woma female that turned out to be a male and I put him in with another male and they just each bolted to respective sides of the tub.........but no striking and wrapping up or anything like that.
