Attaching thermometer probes without tape or glue?
I have two young balls in tubs with thermometer probes in them (these are generic thermometers, not reptile brand-name). They are supposed to stick to inside of the tub, but I guess in moving around, the snakes keep pulling them off. I normally don't mind sticking them back in, but they've gotten stuck to the paper towels and no longer stick.

I know tape is a bad idea, but these tubs are very temporary so I don't want to permanently glue them down, either. Any ideas?

I would use a small amount of hot glue on the cord of the probe. hot glue come off easy, so you will be able to remove it when the time comes.

    another possible option:

my thermometers have probes with a screw hole in them.

if yours do too, you can just screw them into place.

Huh, that's actually the exact thermometer I'm using XD I was wondering what that hole was for. Okay, thanks! I'll probably end up doing that in the new tubs this Thursday.
