Why was my post deleted?

I'm just curious as to why my post about my forum got deleted? I have posted a link to my site on many other forums.....is there a problem with me posting it here?

Well, not sure about all that, but it would probably be a good idea in the future to ask the site owner about it before doing so. Some owner/moderators really prefer to know something about another site before they allow it to be promoted on their site.

Just a thought.

Was it a reptile site? If so, I totally understand why.

I moved it for a short while, checking with the other mods and admins. But... if a person were an active member, and showed off their site, it'd be one matter. But, if it's just needless spam, we need to consider it.

Its not needless......I have a need for more traffic, lol. I am sorry I did not ask first. I did not think it would be a problem. Thanks for the help guys!
