    I'm not sure what the indoor/outdoor is.which is the hit spot. How does it read both.

    There should be a probe that plubs into the unit, the end of the probe shows the outdoor temp, the unit shows the indoor temperature.

    Thank you did not relize it was the unit itself. Is the humibity on the probe or unit?

    It's also part of the unit.

    Place the unit on the cool side of your enclosure. Run the probe under the substrate and fix it directly on the hotspot (most people use a dab of hot glue).

    The unit will read all three measurements. Indoor temp is the cool or ambient temp. Outdoor temp is the hotspot. Humidity is the percentage number shown in the lower right of the unit display.
