    Goldfinger? What?
Randomly came across this picture and haven't heard anything else about this morph... looked it up and there is very limited info and all stemming from a few posts on these forums. What'd I miss here? Did this project just crap out or are there still too few animals to see them around?

That picture is probably old and that's why the price. The Goldfinger is the Desert/Orange Ghost combo. I would imagine that picture was taken when those few were probably the only ones in existence.

Goldfinger was a project between a gentleman named Evan and a former mod. Actually, they were both mods, but at different times.

Evan produced the pastels that the other bought, but thought there might be something else going on, so the male went back on a breeding loan, to be bred back to the mother, I believe.

The Goldfinger was a result of that breeding. I don't believe Desert ever was involved, to the best of my recollection.

I suspect the price was a way of saying 'not for sale', lol.

I think I get it now. The price tag was a way of labelling as hold backs. The 'goldfinger pastel' here looks insane because it's a very nice super pastel, since the 'goldfinger' was simply a nice pastel.

yes, the story i was told was someone claimed every animal had a price, so he wrote those prices on them.
