    Breeding roaches question
Hello everyone. I am receiving a 1 year old bearded dragon from some family members that don't want him anymore. He is eating mostly greens and has crickets as his staple for meat.

I hate crickets! Lol I deal with them for my leopard gecko but I'm really considering breeding roaches for both of them. My issue is that those are the only two mouths I have to feed bugs. There isn't anywhere around me that just sells roaches, so I would have to breed for a steady supply.

Do you think that would be ok or would they breed so fast that I'd have way to many?

    Thank you for reading

My Dubia colony got BIG, FAST

AS long as you split the colony up or sell some off you should be fine.

Just feed off the adult females to keep your supply at what you want. If know one sells them around you though you might try selling the extras to a local pet store instead.

    It's still big!

we've sold 3 starter colonies off it and still have more than enough.

Feed off your adult females to control the size or you can separate males and females
