Getting a nonsticky uth to stick?
Not sure if this has been discussed before but i was wondering if there is a way to reapply a uth? My brother gave me a like new uth but while building my new cage i got some sawdust on the sticky and now once the heat pad warms up it starts peeling. So if anyone has any tricks to getting these things to stick or some spray adhesive or something it would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

You can use the aluminium heat resistant tape for ducting.

Just make certain there are no open contacts to the current ( if you mean heat tape with soldered or clipped on connectors ) - if there are any open contacts cover them with electrical tape before the foil tape to prevent shock hazards etc.

ETA- this is on the OUTSIDE of the tub/ tank yes? As anything sticky inside the snakes enclosure is a stunningly bad idea. :)

I actually use regular clear packing tape regularly, and I have done so for many years without issue, mainly b/c that is what I always have in the house. If you have the aluminum tape, I'm sure that would work much better.
