Made the DIY Garter food,and they still wont eat

Hey guys, sorry to be a pain but as I said I made the DIY garter food from the above sticky ( it came out greay btw) but i cant get them to eat. Ive tried leaving it in overnight and Ive tried actually feeding it to them. Are there any other options I have before having to get a small feeding syringe and doing it that way? Other than not eating they are healthy and active, and both just shed in the last few days. They are just babies, and I want to be able to get the proper nutrition in them.

I know Im kickin a dead thread, but... For any Thamnophis sp. (Garter snakes) Earthworms are honestly you best bet for food form them. If the snakes are small then buy some baby nightcrawlers and cut them into pieces. Also live guppies (not goldfish) are good for garters. Make sure you have ample hiding spots for the snakes also. If they cant hide and are stressed, they wont eat.
