Help keeping temps

my cold side temp is 77. I've read that its too low. Do any of you have any suggestions to keep up the temp on the cold side. Right now im using a 10 gal tank with a uth and a heat lamp. I am waiting for my boaphile rack system to arrive but i want to try to get temps up while it comes in the mail

77 is a suitable temperature for the cool side, as long as the warm side is sufficiently warm. :)

77 is fine. The question is, is this a stable 77 or does it get cooler over night on stormy days... 77 is ok but on the cool end of ok, I would start to be concerned if you saw 75º for very long and quite concerned at 70º. You don't have much wiggle room at 77 if you see what I mean.

its a stable 77 on the cold side my warm side is at about 90. I am asking because I got a bp a little over a month ago and he hasnt eaten since i got him.
Husbandry info: 10 gal tank with uth and heat lamp. Hot side 90 cold side 92, humidity 40-60%. Water bowl two identical hides and repti bark as substrate. I have a thermostat hooked up to the uth and heat lamp. I am double checking my temps with a temp gun. He is 430g, so im not sure if he is in breeding mode and thats why he is refusing. I was told he eats live mice and that all ive tried so far. Any advice given will be appreciated.

Try a live rat pup.

every snake is different. I might try to bum up the ambient /cool temp some shoot for 80 and give it some time and try again. I have never found small snakes to be very fussy but they are quite sensitive to temps.
