Just curious. A girl posted it on my friends profile on FB with the caption "Ball Python X Cali King"...

and then said "Royal Python x Woma"

Help? Pleasings?

Would cross genus even work? Looks more like some of the woma x ball crosses I've seen.

Yeah, balls cannot hybridize with kings. That is about the equivalent of trying to breed a human with an orangutan. Sure we are both primates, but we aren't even close. However, she got it the second time around. It is a woma x ball hybrid.

Someone correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure colubrids cant be bred to pythons. Same way a boa cant be bred to a ball.

I guess someone doesnt approve of hybrids...
As long as youre careful, its done safely, and you know what youre getting yourself into then i dont see a problem with it. Similar to drinking, sex, gambling, marriage etc. etc....

Mike, I personally do not like or approve of hybrids, and I would never own one.

However, I will always defend someone else's right to have them, if nothing else, as a matter of personal freedom.
