    Burnt belly
I was at a pet shop recently and found a guy and a worker holding a BP. So naturally I walked over to see it. I immediately saw the poor guy had a few bad burns on his belly. The guy had no clue what would do this to his Bp So first thing I asked was if he had a heat rock. Nope. Then I asked what thermostat he was using. His answer, what's a thermostat? :(
Wish everyone would do research before taking on responsibility of taking care of a animal.
Also it was a fairly expensive morph, not that it matters a animal is a animal, but you think someone that is willing to spend a good amount on a snake would do their homework.

That is unfortunately a way to common thing. For every one we see or hear about on here there has to be a dozen more.

Why do homework when the pet store will tell you everything! That's the mentality a lot of people have, and most of them just don't know better. Recently started hanging out with a young woman who keeps beardies and a fat tail. Loves them to death, and she did everything she could to take care of them according to the pet store, and when she had a problem she'd go to them. Thankfully she's now in contact with a beardie breeder for questions, but I find that I forget that the general population doesn't have a clue that there's any research to do (even though it seems so common sense... Internet is a few keystrokes away with a wealth of info!)
