Spotnose

I am looking to pick up a spotnose this week and had some pics sent to me and I just wanted to ask a few questions. Every spotnose I've seen has had that black head stamp pattern, the pics I was sent do not have that mark. Is that common and if so what else should I be looking for to confirm spotnose or not?

I don't have his permission as of now to post his photo. I'm not sure how the rules are when it comes to stuff like that.

Since I got nowhere with the first request can people with a spotnose put up a pic and let me see what they should look like. Thanks.

Head markings are a must with any spotnose. You also looks for a high contrast pattern and every spotnose i have seen has a very dirty belly. Here are a few of mine.

Also, you have to watch for booger nose being sold as spotnose. Booger spots are on the side of the nose and anything from a morph to a normal can have them. This is my YB with booger nose markings.

Thanks for the link Slim but I've seen those several times over but it still hasn't helped much. Some have this yellow creeping up from the belly other don't. I've looked into past threads and can't find much either. That's why I was hoping for someone with knowledge of the morph to come and give me a hand.

Aalomon thank you so much for those pics. In comparing those to the pics I was sent I'm glad I questioned the purchase. The booger nose markings are the only thing the snake I was looking at had. No head pattern or anything. Back to cruising the classifieds :)

I don't own a Spotnose myself, but the snake in the World Of Ball Pythons Morphs picture has what I would characterize as the perfect head stamp.

Also the boogers at the side can appear on normals - I have some with stunning booger marks but I know they can't be spotnoses. :)
