I have no personal experience to help you out with, but if I saw that I'd be going to the vet. My first thought is parasites = / But as I said, I haven't experienced this myself.

Hopefully someone else will chime in in the morning.

I'm on my fone and don't see the link but if I'm not mistaken could be because it was regurgitation, the weird stuff could be stomach acids or lining.. but I have np clue without a pic.
How long after feed did the regurgitation occur?
Was it thawed all the way? Like ALL THE WAY?
Not questioning husbandry at all but if it was even a little too NOT thawed that could have caused the puke. But again not sure.
    How old is your ball?

    Edit:just reread.
So it wasn't on the puked up rodent.
Either way, a vet trip is highly recommended

That is weird. the consistent size and shape of those red things makes me think it could be some sort of parasite. Save that stuff and bring it in to the vet.

save it and take it in, that does not in anyway look right.

Also thinking parasites, especially since he recently regurged... let us know what you find out about it. Really weird looking, that's for sure!

i am almost wondering it is was something the rodent had. did you recently switch where you got your food from, or use a wild caught rodent? regardless iw ould get him/her away from the others and back into quarantine till you know what is going on.
