    Need help with the Herpstat 1 not the basic one but anyways my questions is kinda hard to understand I will try and explain to the best I can.Alright look I just bought it unboxed it and now cant figure out how to set it up what I wanna know is this I put the probe in my ball python tank and then set the temp ok the temp is reading 81 right now and I set it to 93 ok now will it make the light shut off when it reaches this degree or will it just keep it at that exact temperature.Ok now I am also having problems with setting the day and night simulation how do I set that part up those are my 2 questions anyone please answer them if you know how to do this thank you guys.

    Ok my bad guys here is the short version of my question. Ok need help with setting the temps do I just put it to say 90 degrees and it will reach that heat and then does it turn off then turn back on in a bit?and also how do I use the day and night feature

    The herpstat 1 will keep the temperature at the set temperature. personally I would set it to 90 degrees as this gives some room for error in both directions.

    In what way do you want to simulate the day/night? as in temperature drop (which is unnecessary and not recommended) or light/dark? (which is not possible without reducing heat. I would recommend that you ditch the white light and get one of these: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...uctId=11147193)
