    I just can't stop smiling ...
Because last night my SO proposed :D :O

I'm still in shock. I haven't stopped smiling and my face is starting to hurt. I'd post a pic of the ring, buuut... apparently there was an issue on the stores end, so it won't be in until sometime between tomorrow and the 25th. He just couldn't wait, and had already told me he had something special planned ( boy did he ever!) To me the ring is just material anyways, so, I don't mind in the slightest.

So, I'm gotta try and get sleep, I didn't last night at all. Been up far too long.

    Congratulations

I wasn't expecting it this time... last time he told me there was a special surprise, I jumped to conclusions. It was a stuffed otter. So, when he said he had something special planned, I thought "eh, maybe we'll go to the beach to look for shells, or something"

Proposal on the beach in the rain? Huh? For a few seconds I was "lol wut?" :imslow: mostly because he had me reach in his pocket for the receipt case thingy the store gave him, and I was too busy looking at it confused to see he was down on one knee.

I didn't stop laughing for the whole time we were at the beach, and the drive home. As soon as I stepped into the house I stopped. Knowing mom would nag, and wanting this to be my little secret (She knows now!) . Only his parents, my dad, and his best friend/manager knew

LOL, I don't go in for the serious proposals, sounds like yours will be a story for you two to tell for a long time. Congrats! Love the part about proposing with a receipt. ;)

Best of luck to you both!!!!

What can I say? My man gets crafty in a pinch. ;) I assume he felt he had to prove that he already bought it. Apparently he looked at 10 different places to find the "right" one (plastic cereal box ring would be enough for me) and still had to get it customized.

First thing i said to him after yes: "you would propose with a receipt... " he said he didn't wanna break the promise to make it one of the best nights of my life :wuv:
