Weight Gain

If a female is gravid or building should she be gaining weight if she is off feed? She has eaten once since end of January. So will I notice a weight gain when she starts building or ovy?

A weight gain doesn't make sense because she's using her fat stores to make the eggs. She's using her weight to make the eggs. Therefor a weight gain wouldn't make sense. Unless she ate :)

Good cause i got no weight gain. Just a little weight loss. Thanks for the reply.
