    ok started cooling this month then when the 4/22/2012 hits went to check on the snakes check all males first then females seen my 09 female het hypo lower body laying inverted what does this mean know not mean gravid because has not lock up yet need help first time breeding also just got a spider proven he has high white and high yellow and also have yellow belly does it means its a yellow belly spider and if it is will the gen go to normales as a yellow belly or no thanks. recklesspython

    Laying inverted is something a snake may do while opaque, after a big meal, while building follicles, and while gravid.

    Yellowbelly is a specific gene, it does not mean the snake has a yellow stomach. If it wasn't sold to you as a yellowbelly spider, it's not one.
