I just hoodwinked my baby BP.. Lol

I've been trying to get my little phantom girl over to frozen rat fuzzies for awhile now. But she just gets scared anytime I dangle a rat in front of her. So I had been feeding her live mice.

Today I dangled a live mouse by the tail & got her all riled up and hungry. I pulled the mouse and then dangled the rat. And she totally slammed it! Now next time I'm going to try it w/o the bait and switch. :P

Good plan, she can stew about it with a full stomach.

Man I got all excited about this. I was sure this was gonna work with my girl. So I did it. FAIL! Maybe I'm not as quick as you, but my snake just looked at me like "WHAT???!! Where did my mouse go?" I tried twice. Finally I just gave her the mouse. Oh well there's always next week. Good idea though.

Try the same thing next week but maybe scent the rat with the mouse? It'll hopefully fool her for long enough to take it with the bait-and-switch.
