    First Poop!?!?
Never thought I would be excited about this topic. :)

We've just brought home Medusa last Sunday. And this evening I spotted what looked like a little white "bird poop" in the tank. Only the size of a large pea maybe?

Since we are new to the snake world, is this what "snake poop" looks like??

I've read the posts about trouble pooping, so happy Im happy if she seems to be on schedule & not too stressed in her new home. lol

What you saw is a urate. The poop will look just like any other normal poop, brown and shaped like a log, lol.

Those are urates. They come all the time. It looks like bird poop because it's basically the exact same thing. Poop looks like... poop. It's brown and you can't miss it and it stinks really bad. It comes less often.

Lol yep, urates. The don't poop all that often so don't stress about how long it takes between pooping. Obviously they more they eat the more they poop.

Hahahaha......O you will have no problem identifying snake poop. You will swear a dog broke into the enclosure and did his business. As amazing it is to see how a snake can eat such a large prey item, it's equally as impressive out the other end.

Im glad this thread has given everyone a chuckle.
I had NO idea that snakes would go something that large.

Maybe that part is going to be more terrifying to my daughter, then the feeding. :O
