On cool side after eating... Is it ok?
Tonight Barry went under his cool side hide after eating. He ate fine. And I feed him on his hot side. The temps havnt changed , and he used to always hang more on the hot side. So is it healthy for him to be hanging out in the 80 degree hide to digest a meal? This is the second meal he has done this... was under the impression they needed the hotter temps for digestion...

He'll move when he needs to. Remember, the snake is the expert on thermoregulation.:gj:

The snake knows whatbthe snake wants. As long as you offer him a hot side and a cool side let him make up his mind.

I wouldn't worry as long as your temps are ok. She'll do whatever she needs to. Right now she feels like being on the cool side. Nothing to worry about.

Just double check your temps to be sure.
