Re:Help with eggs Please-Help
So wanted to post a quick thread on my eggs. This is day 16 and I checked on the eggs today and found what people term a "BOOB Egg". I think. Well at least thats what I think it is. I just kind of want some peace of mind that everything is ok. I feel that this egg is still good but I wanted some more advice. I did candle the eggs again today and they all have more veining inside them, Even the Boob egg. So I will have a few pictures next and I also made a video on you tube. If you can help please do. I think it's still ok but wanted some expert opinions. My youtube account is Reptile36snakeman if anyone needs to see them more. Thanks guys. Don't wanna freak out yet but gettting nervous. Thanks againhttp://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/...siphone033.jpghttp://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/...siphone032.jpghttp://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/...siphone031.jpg

When people talk about a "boob" egg, it's when part of the shell doesn't fully form and is almost clear; again, it does not happen after the eggs are incubating. Can you tell whether the dark "stuff" is actually a color change of the egg, or is it possibly mold growth that you can wipe off?

No it looks ok. It's not mold growth so idk. Has good veins it it. I'm posting a video now of it but it's hard to see in the box.

Your biggest issue will be moisture on eggs, as using substrateless method, theres no need to use press n seal as itll trap TOO much moisture on the press n seal and drip on the eggs.
So it's ok even though it's day 16. And The inside of the egg tub has some condensation but really not a whole lot and I don't notice much on the press and seal when I took it off today.

The egg is fine and will hatch.
At this point of incubation You should have any moisture forming on the lid or sides. Substratless method allows soaking of the vermiculite or perlite as eggs wont touch. But by doing this you need to have a means of air flow as the tub will build up moisture too fast.
I use substratless and never used press n seal as theres no need to. Just put lid on and thats it.
