Switching yearlings from mice to rats, suggestions or tried and true methods?
*If there is already a thread similar to these, please link it.

I have several mousers in my collection. I am breeding my own mice, but they aren't very good mothers. I have several groups that have eaten their own young. I also have rat colonies breeding. I want to get rid of the mouse and focus on rats. However, my biggest problem now is getting my mousers to eat rats. Does anyone have tried and true methods? I sort of tried putting the rats in mice bedding for a few minutes. That didn't work.

Let them skip a few meals if they're being picky. You might be suprised how many come around. Missing a few weeks won't have any ill effect on your snakes.
