I swear my BP Normal Male is a real funny guy. He has grown 75 grams since i got him 3 months ago (which is better than nothing), but every feeding day he wants a smaller prey item. He started off eating Hopper mice just fine. After eating 2 of those 2 differant feeds all of the sudden he wanted a Fuzzy. So on and so forth, he has been off feed for weeks and just ate for me tonight. A pinkie mouse? What the hell is his problem? It took me 3 weeks to figure out thats what his problem was, too much food! Every feeding he has moved down in the size of pray. Why would a BP prefer or want this? I dont get it, but it does give me a good feeling that at least he ate something.

They don't always know what's best for themselves. Might be time for a little tough love. Try feeding him a prey item the correct size for his weight, and if he refuses, make sure he sees the same thing the next time.

Provided all the husbandry is correct and there are no other factors in play, he will start to eat at some point.

    Is this live or F/T?
