    Some discolored neck scales...
    http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...s/adf97440.jpg

So these just showed up recently. They weren't there when I first got her but I did notice her neck scales seemed a little... Flaky is the work I want to use?

Hot spot is 90, ambient is 78, humidity is 57 so everything's okay there?

Should I trade out the reptibark for paper towels? Maybe that colored her a little?

She's also getting kind of wrinkly, and is suddenly much browner, should I be watching for a shed in the future?

I am still new to this but looks like a small case of scale rot , may want to get that looked at by vet and if she sheds good it could go away

I would go to paper towels for now and keep it all clean. Maybe a little chlorhexadine bath as well.

I think she might be coming up to a shed.

Get some pics of these wrinkles you are seeing and we should be able to say with more certainty.

Kinda had to make her do it because all she wants to do is get away from me.

I'll switch to paper towels right away.

If she is in shed, should I offer food tonight? Her next scheduled feeding day is tomorrow and it'll be five days since her last meal.

    Hi,

Making her do it wasn't something I had considered you doing. :)

I'd offer as normal just don't be worried if she refuses - not all of them eat while in shed.

Is her substrate at the moment excessively wet? Do you spray it a lot or anything?

She's on paper towels right now and no. I've never sprayed it and her water bowl is tip-proof so she hasn't gotten it wet herself so far as I know. She's in a tub so I don't have to do much to keep humidity up at all.

Certainly sounds and looks like she's about to shed. Keep an eye on that spot and then check it again closely after she sheds. Make note of the changes.

:gj: Will do! Thanks guys! Hopefully there'll be a 'yay good shed' post from me in a little while and hopefully she'll still eat tomorrow.
