    Please help! My BP swallowed substrate.
    My ball python was eating her mouse and swollowed some of the coconut fiber substrate? Not sure what to do. Anyone have any advice?

    It'll be fine...snakes swallow their "substrate" in the wild all the time and there's still plenty of them around.

    And if you're worried about your snake swallowing more, you can just put a piece of card board down over the substrate when you feed her/him.

    Take a deep breath I have been using Eco Earth for over a year and have had more than a few slim/substrate rats go down the snake and have never had an issue yet :) My big normal girl seems to like her rat with a nice dusting of the stuff:) at least she drags it around the enclosure till its nice and coated ;)

    Do nothing, she will be fine. :). They can break down bones, I wouldn't worry about a bit of substrate.

    your snake willl be ok .....if it starts crappings coconuts sell them online:D

    Coco coir is completely digestible there should be no problems with it at all. Mine do too and there has never been an issue with coco coir products I can't say the same for wold chip ones however.

    I don't know... That broken down wood and coconut fiber might just be harder than a mouses bones... ;)
