Livng in Tank but Feeding in Bin
If I were to house my snake in a tank and feed in a tub would it stress it out? Is the extreme difference between the tank and the bin ging to freak it out?

I wouldn't... I feed Quetzal right in his tank and he doesn't seem to be bothered by the glass walls or substrate :3

X3 for just feeding him in his enclosure!
Moving him could add unneeded stress.

All of mine are feed in their tubs. No reason to move a snake to feed it.

I've fed several snakes in separate bins with no issues at all, so I'm not sold on the added stress factor so much...but there's really no reason to feed balls in a separate bin.

I do feed my boa in a separate bin though. She's big, and super cage aggressive, so when it's feeding time I just open her cage, let her come out on her own and then put her in a bin to feed her.

Thanks for the advice! I was afraid my snake might mistaken me for a mouse and bite or become cage aggressive, but it doesn't sound like a problem. So I'll feed in the tank :)

I feed my little guy in his tank, and I reach in there and take him out and check on him daily :P He's never made an aggressive move towards me.

Some people worry about ingested substrate, I just put down paper towel on the half of the tank he's not in, and then hold the feeder over that side and he comes over and strikes like a champ :)

I fed my lesser in his tank the first 4 or 5 feedings, And my normal is always fed outside, he is a sloppy eater LOL. (Substrate)

This feeding I fed them both in separate tubs and My Lesser ate just fine !!

I think its all who is feeding them and the time they have, I have no problems removing them from there tanks and feeding.. Once I get more then if they all eat the same day things may change lol
