They play Polly pockets in the pony corral!! I don't know how she does it. My daughter will play with the rats that are dinner for the snakes, then with out batting an eye, drop them in for one of our bps. Cracks me up. They are like little toys, then bloop, dinner. :D

Lol, nice! That's the one reason why I don't want to feed live when I get my baby BP... I don't want to get attached to the food, LOL.

    How old is she?
I think it is pretty cool how she can enjoy how cute and intelligent they are, but at the same time she realizes they are still your snakes next meals!

What a hoot! Reminds me of when my youngest sister was about 3-4 and we had a family goose cleaning business (most were dead already). Someone brought in a crate of live white ducks they wanted cleaned and the only kicker was we had to kill them first. She would cuddle the ducks, hug them, pet them and when she thought they were suffiently loved she would hand them over and say "Ok now you can kill them"....it was sad and funny all in the same breath. Glad you have a sense of humor.

She is 8, when we got into snakes we had a conversation with her about how and what, the snakes needed to eat. She completely understands.

That's a hoot and a half and good for her for having that understanding that meals don't arrive preprocessed in nature. She sounds like a super cool kid and a future advocate for the hobby...or maybe a representative for mouse and rat rights, lol! Think she could talk to my wife and explain how that all works? Mine is great for petting the "tubs of cuteness" as she calls them but come feeding day... :D
