Random Update on Random Stuff
So I got my first paycheck with my raise applied. And I am happy. Together with my wife's new job we are making about $1000-1100 more per month. Which means we will not only be spending less the we make but can afford to start paying off debt and have a little splurge every now and then. It's still not what it was before she lost her job last year but it's way better than just a couple months ago.
I am really excited to have 2 clutches coming at the beginning of May. I've been testing all sort of tub set up in my incubator. I just tried a vermiculite mix with a egg crate on top and I may go with that if I can find cheaper bags. I can only find 3.5 liter bags and they are $5 bucks each. Once bag isn't even enough for 2 tubs.
Dad's been behaving since Tuesday. I think my (older) brother talked some sense into him. We'll see how that goes.
Learned at work this week that Win 7 and VS 2003 don't like each other. So I had to install an XP Vurtual and then install VS 2003 there so I can do my job better. I wish they'd convert this stuff to VS 2010 already so I don'thave to deal with it.
Thinking about moving once our lease is up in September. We are quickly outgrowing it. Started looking at houses in the areao and I waa surprised at what I saw. There were a few 3 bed 2 bath houses in decent areas with around 1800+ sq ft for only about 125k, which is killer good for here. Looked at other apartments too but would rather get a house.
