Looks like I'll be making my incubator instead of buying one!

this thing is like 4ft tall! The door is there, it was just removed for moving. It needs a good scrubbing but I think it will make a great incubator once I get the heat tape in.

With it being so large should I use the 11" or just stick with the 3"?

Good find! I would use a strip of 11" down the back.

I agree with Jinx667, a strip of 11" down the back would be best

Thanks guys! Now how hard is this going to be to set up? I was looking at some of the other threads and they had a ton of pics but I'm more of a manual type girl and understand better when I read.

Is it necessary to remove all the original wiring and cooling stuff? Or can you just add the flexwatt, fan and water bottles, plug the flexwatt into the thermostat and go?

It will be lighter and easier to move if you remove all the unnecessary stuff.

Have you read the tutorial I posted on making one of these into an incubator?

    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...bator-Tutorial.

Also, yes you should have a trained and certified technician work on the refridgeration system for you. That is what I do for a living and can tell you it can be a very volatile substance if not handled properly. Good luck and have fun!
